About project

Advancing Cancer Research with the First Open-Access Atlas of Circulating Tumor Cells.

Creating a comprehensive, open-access Atlas of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and other tumor-related cells in blood and other body fluids is the core of our mission. Leveraging cutting-edge molecular imagingt echnologies, such as imaging flow cytometry, we are collecting unique data to standardize CTC characterization aiming to improve CTC selection criteria. Our goal is to deepen the understanding of cancer dissemination, as well as strengthen CTC-based diagnostics, and therefore support personalized oncology.

This Atlas is designed to empower researchers, physicians, and patients alike by providing a valuable resource for understanding the metastatic cascade, exploring advanced diagnostic methods embedded in liquid biopsy, and monitoring cancer therapies. By raising awareness about the potential of liquid biopsies, we aim to transform personalized cancer care and drive innovation in oncology.
